Eric St. Godard has hit the ground running, and he isn't looking back. This jazz pianist has become known for going against the grain to create an authentic voice in the jazz world; one that isn't afraid to take risks. Eric has taken influences from the spheres of straight-ahead-swing, bebop, fusion, rock, and hip hop to mould his music into a sound and stories that any generation can groove to and appreciate. His EPs Perspectives, Look Here, and Blackbird (single) have showcased the diversity and willingness to look beyond the jazz tradition for inspiration and the desire to connect with a wider audience. As a result, Eric has been able to have played at major clubs across Canada in such as Yardbird Suite (Canada) and Vernon Jazz Club (Canada), as well as the Winnipeg International Jazz Festival.

Most recently, Eric has assembled a formidable quartet - The E4 - which not only follows this philosophy of diversity and connection, but also brings a level of synergy which brings audiences to believe that they have played together in more than one lifetime. The E4 is slated to record their debut album in May 2025 at Studio Bell (National Music Centre) in Calgary, Canada.
